RAP Data Deletion Request

How Radiant Afya Plan members can request deletion of app and account data

Request Deletion Of Your RAP Data

Radiant Afya Plan, also referred to as RAP, allows members to request deletion of personal data linked to the RAP mobile app and member services where legally and operationally permitted.

To request deletion, contact RAP support using the details below and clearly state that you want to make a data deletion request.

  • Email: rapcardsupport@radianthospitals.org
  • Phone: 0709668811
  • Physical address: ALONG JUJA ROAD, BUILDING: RGH PLAZA
Information To Include

Please include enough information for RAP support to identify your member account:

  • your full name;
  • your registered mobile number;
  • your RAP member number or plan identification, if available;
  • a short description of the data you want deleted.

RAP may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request. This helps prevent unauthorized deletion of another member's data.

Data That May Be Deleted

Depending on your account status and legal requirements, RAP may delete or deactivate:

  • mobile app profile access records that are no longer required;
  • optional support request information where deletion is permitted;
  • uploaded dependant documents where they are no longer required for verification, audit, or compliance;
  • inactive app access tokens, OTP reset records, and temporary login records;
  • other optional app-related records that are not required for service delivery, legal, financial, or audit reasons.
Data That May Be Kept

Some RAP data cannot be deleted immediately because RAP provides healthcare wallet, payment, dependant, loyalty, and facility service records. RAP may retain:

  • wallet balances, top-up records, payment references, receipts, and transaction history;
  • healthcare service, billing, settlement, and facility verification records;
  • dependant and identity verification records required for audit, fraud prevention, or dispute handling;
  • records needed for legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, security, or compliance obligations;
  • records needed to investigate fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, or unresolved disputes.
Retention Period

RAP will review deletion requests and remove eligible data within a reasonable period after verification. Some records may be retained for as long as required by healthcare operations, financial reporting, audit, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax, accounting, legal, or regulatory obligations.

Where full deletion is not possible, RAP may restrict, archive, anonymize, or deactivate data where appropriate and permitted.

Opt Out And Deletion Are Different

Opting out stops or limits your participation in RAP services. A data deletion request asks RAP to delete eligible personal data. Some records may still be retained even after opt out or deletion request where required for healthcare, payment, audit, security, legal, or compliance reasons.
